Area piano teachers are invited to enter their students in the annual Piano Festival & Competition sponsored by the Downers Grove Music Club.
2018 Piano Festival & Competition
All students who take part in the festival on Sunday, March 4th will play in front of experienced judges and will receive constructive written critiques within a week of the festival.
All students who attain a high level of excellence will be invited to perform at the Honors Recital which will be held on Sunday, March 11th. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first and second place winners of the students who enter at the competition level.

Teachers must complete an application form which includes the required information for all of their students who are entering the Piano Festival & Competition.
As soon as your application has been successfully submitted, you will receive both an instant online confirmation and an e-mail confirmation. Both acknowledgements will provide you with the total registration fee that is due.
Registration fees may be paid instead
by mailing a check, postmarked no later than

Who Can Enter?
Students who meet at least one of the following three requirements are eligible to enter.
1. Student currently resides in zip codes 60514, 60515, 60516, 60517, 60440, 60532, 60559, 60561 or is an Oak Brook resident in 60521 or 60523 or
2. Student's teacher resides in any of the above zip codes or
3. Student's teacher is a member of the Downers Grove Music Club
What Does It Cost to Enter?
Registration fees are as follows:
- Festival Levels 1 - 5 - $20.00 per student
- Competition Levels - $30.00 per student
- Non-member Teacher Fee - $35.00 per year
