DELAYED DUE TO COVID-19 OUTBREAK
DGMC is hosting the Spring House Benefit Concert on March 20, 2020, the second of our two fundraising events this season. It features a lovely evening of live music and delicious refreshments in the intimate setting of a private home. All proceeds are dedicated to funding the Student Music Awards. The photo above is from our Fall House Benefit Concert (more photos here.)
The upcoming House Concert prominently features the work of cellist Andrew Molina. Andrew was a recipient of both the DGMC Rising Stars and College Music Awards. He is now pursuing joint MD-PhD degrees at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in the Medical Scientist Training Program. In his “spare” time, he continues to study cello and share his exceptional musical talents with his community — both at the university and here with us. The concert is sure to be a very special event, and we are proud to showcase an example of the talent supported by our music education efforts.
This is a ticketed event with limited seating. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased from the special events webpage.
